Stopanska Banka AD Skopje Headquarters is now LEED Gold certified — the first in North Macedonia

This is a significant milestone. The building is the first LEED-certified project in Skopje and the first in the country to reach Gold level. Until now, North Macedonia had only one LEED-certified building, a Silver project in Prilep.

A clean result across the board

The project scored well above the threshold required for Gold, with strong performance across location and transport, water efficiency, energy, indoor environmental quality, innovation, and regional priority. Every credit submitted was accepted, none were denied or left pending.

For our team, FOCAL & NEAPOLI Joint Venture, this is the first project we have taken through the entire LEED process from start to final certification. It concludes with an exceptionally clean review, and we are proud to have been part of it.
