Wyndham Hotel, Nicosia

Renovation of an ex 4-star hotel of 12.000 m2, in the centre of Nicosia Cyprus, and upgrade to a 5-star hotel. For this upgrade, the building was structurally reinforced, while architectural renovation and new M&E installations are also required.
During the pre-construction period Focal managed closed tenders for the selection of consultants and provided design management and coordination services for the issuance of Building permits for the building structural enforcement. Project Management tasks involved budgeting, overall schedule monitoring, detailed construction cost breakdown, tendering and awarding of structural enforcement work packages, as well as design review of architectural and M&E Designs. During the construction period Focal is also responsible for the construction management, budgeting review, overall schedule monitoring, detailed construction cost breakdown, on-site quality control, quantity surveying and contractor’s payments management.
