About the project

Located in Neo Faliro, Piraeus, KYKLOS is a major new cultural development that aspires to become a global hub for contemporary art, education, and intercultural dialogue. Initiated and funded by the Dinos and Lia Martinos Foundation (DLMF), KYKLOS is set to open in the last quarter of 2028, near the Neo Faliro train station.
The project has been designed by the internationally acclaimed Renzo Piano Building Workshop, and represents a model of sustainability and architectural excellence. With 62% of the site dedicated to green and recreational spaces, KYKLOS will significantly enhance the urban fabric of the area while remaining fully accessible to all.
KYKLOS will showcase art collections from Africa, Oceania, and other regions, while also facilitating rotating exhibitions, lectures, screenings, and hybrid educational programs. Its purpose is to bridge global artistic expression with local engagement, offering an inclusive and forward-looking platform for cultural exchange.
