Four Seasons, Mykonos Greece
Construction of 5* luxury complex featuring 94 appointed rooms, suites, villas & a 300 sq.m. superyacht marina
About the project
Commanding a spectacular cliffside location in Kalo Livadi overlooking the Aegean Sea, Four Seasons Resort Mykonos marks the arrival of the globally renowned Four Seasons brand to one of Greece's most prestigious island destinations. Developed by Blue Iris Investments, the greenfield project has been envisioned to establish a new benchmark for luxury hospitality in Mykonos, combining world-class guest experiences with deep respect for the island's architectural heritage, natural landscape and cultural identity.
Set on a 60,324 m² beachfront site, the resort takes full advantage of its spectacular cliffside topography, rising almost 90 metres above sea level and offering uninterrupted panoramic sea views across the entire development. Carefully integrated into the rugged terrain and three secluded sandy beaches, the masterplan embraces the timeless principles of Cycladic architecture through whitewashed volumes, intimate courtyards, winding stone pathways and landscaped gardens, creating the atmosphere of an authentic island village.
Designed by acclaimed Greek architect Nicos Valsamakis, with landscape architecture by Helli Pangalou, the resort comprises 94 luxurious guestrooms and suites, including a Presidential Villa, all thoughtfully positioned to maximise views of the Aegean Sea. Many accommodations feature expansive private terraces and plunge pools that visually merge with the surrounding seascape, reinforcing the project's seamless relationship with its natural environment.
The development delivers a comprehensive luxury hospitality offering, including multiple signature restaurants, all-day dining venues, cafés, bars and poolside experiences, complemented by an extensive wellness destination featuring a luxury spa, treatment rooms, fitness facilities, yoga spaces and dedicated leisure amenities. Additional facilities include landscaped courtyards, retail outlets, a kids' club, chapel, outdoor parking areas, dedicated staff accommodation, seven branded luxury villas currently under development and a yacht shelter designed to accommodate mega yachts, further strengthening the destination's premium lifestyle proposition.
Sustainability has been embedded throughout the development, integrating environmentally responsible solutions such as desalinated seawater systems, solar energy generation and advanced waste management strategies. These initiatives support the resort's long-term operational efficiency while preserving the exceptional natural character of its coastal setting.
Representing one of the most significant luxury hospitality developments in Greece, Four Seasons Resort Mykonos combines architectural excellence, refined guest experiences and sophisticated engineering to create a destination of international standards while remaining deeply rooted in the identity of the Cyclades.
Over a five-year delivery programme, FOCAL provided Project and Construction Management services as a subcontractor to Vita Development, maintaining a hands-on approach with a strong on-site presence throughout the construction process. Working closely with the client, consultants, designers and contractors, FOCAL delivered continuous technical support, project coordination and construction oversight, ensuring alignment across all disciplines and contributing to the successful delivery of this highly complex hospitality development.
The project's challenging topography, intricate architectural detailing and the rigorous quality standards associated with an internationally recognised luxury hotel brand required meticulous planning, proactive coordination and continuous collaboration between all stakeholders. FOCAL's active involvement throughout the construction lifecycle played a key role in supporting efficient decision-making and maintaining project momentum from early construction through to hotel opening.
Four Seasons Resort Mykonos officially welcomed its first guests in June 2026, marking a significant milestone for the development and reinforcing Greece's position as a premier destination for luxury hospitality investment.
