Aman Resort, Porto Heli, Greece

This exclusive vacation destination operated by Aman Hotels and Resorts, comprises 38 bungalows (130m2 each with private pool) and supporting facilities such as SPA, restaurants, main hotel lobby and administration offices, library and associated infrastructure. The resort buildings total 15.000 m2 total built area, waste water treatment plant and planting. The resort incorporated luxurious finishes topping all other resorts built in Greece at the time. The pressure that the use of thick marble slabs, sophisticated automation controls of every electrical system, heated pools, and luxury fixtures and equipment put on the Project Management team, in terms of coordinating local designers with the hotel Operator’s international design consultant, continued to the Construction process. All of the above mentioned features required an extreme attention to detail and close scrutiny to all contractor activities during the construction process.
Type of services provided include full preconstruction planning, budgeting, design management, tendering and site supervision. Focal’s team was involved in the project since the preliminary design stage and assisted the Client’s organization in defining design scope requirements. Focal was also awarded the second phase of development, which includes serviced privately owned villas in the form of an exclusive residential community.
