In the heart of Athens, where timeless heritage meets contemporary design, the Anthology of Athens has officially opened its doors. This boutique hotel brings a fresh perspective to the capital’s luxury hospitality scene — intimate, refined and deeply rooted in the city’s cultural spirit.
As Project and Construction Manager, Focal proudly contributed to the delivery of this exceptional 5-star property. The project involved the transformation of a former office building into a 1,300 m² boutique hotel, now home to 18 meticulously designed rooms, a rooftop restaurant overlooking the Acropolis, a wellness area and curated communal spaces.
Within just weeks of its opening, the hotel has already earned industry recognition, receiving a Gold Boutique Hotel award at the Greek Hotel of the Year 2025 and one MICHELIN Key from the MICHELIN Guide. It has also been featured among the top luxury hotels in Athens by Luxury London.
Designed to offer guests more than a stay - a story - the Anthology of Athens is already redefining what it means to experience the historic center of the city.
