Cost Engineer
We are looking for a Cost Engineer to join our project team based at the Site Office in Athens. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, budgets and quantity take-offs, supporting procurement and tendering activities, reviewing payments and variations, and monitoring project costs throughout all project stages to ensure effective cost control and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BoQs) and quantity take-offs based on drawings, specifications and approved designs
- Prepare cost estimates and project budgets from concept stage through detailed design, based on project scope, building areas, typology and market benchmarks.
- Obtain, review and analyze quotations from contractors, suppliers and subcontractors to support cost planning and budget validation.
- Support procurement and tendering processes, including preparation of cost documentation and evaluation of submitted offers.
- Review payment applications, measurements, variations and change orders.
- Prepare regular cost reports, cash flow forecasts and cost-to-complete assessments.

- Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in cost engineering, quantity surveying, cost control or project controls.
- Strong understanding of construction costs, market rates, benchmarking and key cost drivers.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and document management systems.
- Knowledge of MS Project or other project control software will be considered an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English.
