Architect / Site Representative

Overview:

We are looking for an Architect / Site Representative to join our Client-side team on a high-profile hospitality development in Porto Heli. This role offers the opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary project environment, supporting construction delivery, quality management and technical coordination throughout execution and handover.

 

Summary

The Architect / Site Representative supports the Client-side site team in monitoring, coordinating and documenting construction activities throughout execution and handover. Working closely with the Focal Senior Architect / Site Representative and Focal Construction Manager, the role supports site inspections, technical review, quality follow-up, reporting and project close-out activities to ensure works are delivered in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.

Key accountabilities:
  • Monitor and support day-to-day construction activities across active work fronts
  • Conduct regular site inspections and record progress, observations and photographic documentation
  • Support contractor monitoring to ensure compliance with approved drawings, materials and project standards
  • Assist in reviewing shop drawings, material submissions and technical documentation prior to senior review
  • Support quality assurance and quality control processes, identifying defects, non-conformances and outstanding works
  • Maintain project records including inspection logs, progress trackers, site diaries and document registers
  • Support management of RFIs, technical queries, contractor submissions and consultant responses
  • Coordinate with consultants and project disciplines including architectural, structural, MEP, other Specialist and LEED teams
  • Support mock-up reviews, sample approvals and material inspections
  • Participate in snagging, testing, commissioning follow-up and close-out activities
  • Track contractor progress on defect rectification and outstanding works
  • Assist with handover documentation, as-built records and project close-out submissions
  • Prepare meeting minutes, reports and project correspondence
  • Report site observations, quality issues, delays and risks to senior project leadership
  • Capture lessons learned and site observations for reporting and continuous improvement

Work Environment

This role requires daily presence on site. The Architect / Site Representative is expected to conduct inspections, attend coordination meetings and support site monitoring activities throughout all project phases. Occasional travel to project-related meetings or regional locations may be required.

Qualifications:
  • Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • Approximately 5 years of professional experience, including active site experience
  • Experience on hospitality, residential or mixed-use developments
  • Good understanding of construction methodologies, detailing, materials and sequencing
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings, including structural and MEP coordination principles, and coordinate amongst those
  • Familiarity with quality inspection, reporting and documentation procedures
  • Familiarity with Greek construction regulations and industry standards is an advantage
  • Experience with LEED or equivalent sustainability documentation
  • Proficiency in MS Office, document management systems and construction coordination platforms
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, BIM and project management platforms
  • Excellent command of Greek and English, oral and written
  • Strong reporting, documentation and organizational skills
  • Greek residence permit
